For government organizations and prime contractors

The program is funded. Now it has to get built, tested, and used.

Reed Consulting Group gives government organizations and prime contractors senior business analysis and delivery capacity for a defined workstream. Requirements that hold up. Testing that catches problems before launch. A rollout that's ready when the date arrives.

What we do

Modernization programs usually don't fail on the technology. They get into trouble when requirements have no owner, testing gets squeezed, or nobody prepares users for the rollout. We take the workstreams where that happens.

Requirements & workflow assessment

For when requirements are unclear, contested, or scattered across systems and teams. We document how the work actually happens today, what the new system has to do, and where the gaps are. You get a requirements baseline and workflow maps your engineers and your vendor can build from.

UAT & launch-readiness workstream

For when the build is done and the launch has to hold. We plan and run acceptance testing, track defects to closure, manage certification and cutover checklists, and give leadership a straight answer on whether it's ready.

Embedded delivery support

For when a program needs a senior BA or delivery lead now and a full-time hire is months away. We plug into your team, run the workstream, and hand it back documented.

Also supported

Program & process consolidation

When the same work runs three different ways, someone pays for it. We bring duplicated workflows, vendors, and intake paths into one documented path.

A natural follow-on to the requirements & workflow assessment.

AI enablement

Picking the two or three workflows where AI tooling actually earns its keep, piloting them with real users, and putting governance in place so adoption sticks.

Built, not just advised: we've stood up RAG pipelines and agent workflows ourselves. Listed last on purpose. AI works when the requirements and the data are in order.

Where we fit

The lane

A defined delivery problem and an accountable workstream, not an entire transformation program. That's the lane, and we stay in it.

For primes

A small business partner you can plug into a program, pursuit, or task order for senior BA and PM capacity. We've worked as a sub before, and the paperwork isn't new to us. Delivery is founder-led, with vetted senior people added as scope is defined.

For Commonwealth buyers

We hold Small, Micro, and Minority-owned SWaM designations. Under Virginia's small-business purchasing rules, procurements under $10,000 are generally set aside for certified micro businesses when available and the price is fair and reasonable. That can make a focused assessment, UAT plan, or readiness review a practical way to start working together.
